As part of our Finance Team, we are looking for a motivated Internal Accountant Apprentice to support our accounting and financial operations while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.

Role Overview

The Internal Accountant Apprentice will assist in daily financial and accounting tasks while developing expertise in financial transactions processing, preparing financial statements, and compliance. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in accounting and apply their Accounting knowledge in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in recording, processing, and reconciling financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping, reports, and statements.

  • Help process invoices, expenses, payments, account payables and receivables.

  • Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and ledger accounts.

  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

  • Participate in tax and regulatory compliance activities.

  • Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and support.

  • Work with accounting software and tools to ensure accurate data entry.

  • Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.

  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned to support the success of the team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or a related field.

  • Currently pursuing SCAAK Certification, IKAF, AFAS, ACCA, CPA or any related Certification (preference given to those already certified).

  • Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured manner.

  • Strong communication skills in English and Albanian.
